Students of STD V to IX will proceed on an international tour to Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Germany in mid-June 2009, during the summer holidays. The itinerary of the tour is as follows : |
| Day 1 |
- Arrive Zurich, Switzerland. Move in to hotel and overnight stay in Lucerne. |
| Day 2 |
- Sightseeing in Lucerne – Alps, Löwendenkmal, Kapellbrüke
Excursion to Mount Pilatius, Swiss folklore evening |
| Day 3 |
- Excursion to Interlaken (town between lakes), Ride on Jungfrau Railway, the famous mountain railway leading to the highest railway station in Europe- Jungfraujoch. |
| Day 4 |
- Arrive in Venice, Italy. Overnight stay in Venice. |
| Day 5 |
- Sightseeing in Venice. Gondola ride on the Grand Canal. |
| Day 6 |
- Transfer to Innsbruck in Tyrol, Austria. |
| Day 6 |
- Arrive Munich, Germany in the evening. |
| Day 7 |
- Sightseeing in Munich – Olympic Stadium, BMW headquartes, Deutsches Museum, Marienplatz, Glockenspiel.
Excursion to Dachau, Visit to BMW museum. |
| Day 8 |
- Visit to Oberammergau, Neushwanstein Castle |
| Day 9 |
- Return Flight to India. |
